I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, respectful, and grounded in trust. My approach is especially informed by both professional training and personal experience with grief, which allows me to hold space in a way that is genuine, grounded, and deeply respectful of each person’s process.
Together, we will explore what has been feeling heavy, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build practical tools that support meaningful change in your day-to-day life.
I support individuals who may be feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, strengthen coping strategies, and feel more equipped to manage challenges as they arise.
Helping Clients Navigate Loss, Relationships, Stress, And Emotional Overwhelm
Life can become difficult to manage when grief, trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, or low mood begin to affect how you feel, think, connect, and function. These experiences can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, unsure of your next step, or emotionally exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
I work with clients navigating grief, trauma, stress, anxiety, low mood, difficult relationships, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting younger populations, including teenagers ages 11 and up, who may be struggling with emotional regulation, stress, identity, family changes, school pressures, grief, or other life challenges.
My focus is not on rushing your process. It is on creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to explore what hurts, understand what you need, and begin building a clearer path forward.
Evidence-Based Therapy Tailored To Your Needs
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I draw from evidence-based approaches to support each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experience.
My work draws from EMDR-informed approaches, narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy. These approaches allow us to explore both the emotional roots of distress and the practical tools needed to move forward.
EMDR-informed approaches can be helpful when working with trauma, painful memories, grief, and experiences that continue to feel unresolved. Narrative therapy can help you separate yourself from the problem and begin reshaping the stories you carry about yourself. CBT and solution-focused work can support coping strategies, emotional awareness, and practical change.
Therapy is personalized, collaborative, and paced in a way that respects your readiness and comfort.
Understanding Workplace Stress, Pressure, And Professional Burnout
Before entering the field of psychotherapy, I worked in a corporate environment. Because of that experience, I understand the pressure, expectations, and pace that can come with the professional world.
Many people appear high-functioning on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from themselves. Workplace stress, perfectionism, people-pleasing, career transitions, and burnout can slowly affect mental health, relationships, confidence, and overall well-being.
I bring that awareness into my work to offer practical, realistic support for individuals navigating professional stress, life transitions, grief, trauma, and emotional overload.
